Napier Women's Refuge provides a range of services dedicated to preventing violence against women,young people and children. Our mission is to create a society where all women, young people, children and their families live life free from violence.
We provide a 24-hour crisis and support line, information, emergency safe accommodation, community support, education programmes, community awareness and training.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STAY IN THE SAFEHOUSE TO ACCESS SERVICES
Domestic Violence, also known as family violence, spousal abuse, or intimate partner violence, occurs when a family member, partner or ex-partner attempts to physically or psychologically dominate another.
Domestic violence occurs in all cultures; people of all races, ethnicities, religions, sexes and classes can be perpetrators of domestic violence.
Napier Women's Refuge can provide you with support and information to assist you to make decisions about your life. Services are confidential and we won't judge you or tell you what to do. We're here to listen and help you make choices for your safety.
